About This Book
There were many Grant families in North Carolina in the late 1700's and early 1800's. I have transcribed all the Grant entries listed on the Federal Census Records for North Carolina for the years 1790, 1800, 1810, 1820, 1830, 1840, and 1850. The early census records only list the name of the head of household, but the 1850 census was the first to list every member of the household by name (except slaves.) Includes a full name index.
This edition is out of a print. A newer version including the 1860 census is available from www.lulu.com and www.martygrant.com. It is called "Grant census records,1790-1860, North Carolina"
