Residents in Washington DC were asked to name the most important problem facing the area, discrimination experienced, effects of government welfare and affirmative action programs, racial composition of the neighborhood, racial social interactions, political alignment, education, marital status, household composition, income, receipt of government assistance, length of residency, address, and sex.
