T͡sarskie zhalovannye gramoty svetskim lit͡sam (1613--1696)

The study investigates the tsar's grant charters to the laity in 1613-1696. For the first time in the historiography, based on the large number of sources identified by the author, a comprehensive analysis of the tsar's grant charters of XVII century is carried out as an analysis of a sort of documentary sources. The study of the origin, the content and form of charters and their functions transformation served to reveal the importance of sources for a variety of political, economic and cultural aspects of life in XVII century.--
