About This Book

A small, 64 page book with tips on how the housewife could be up to date in her fashions, cooking, and hospitality. The book was evidently put together in Hollywood for theater operators to sell to their customers at $1.00 a piece in 1936. Pictures of movie stars accompany their advice and recipes. Inside the cover and adjacent pages there are advertisements for local businesses. This copy was sold here in Astoria, Oregon by the Liberty Theatre on Commercial Street. Size: 6" x 9"
