Werner Cuvelier

In order to get a strong understanding of a thousand years worth of Western Culture, I have made lists of, to me, indispensable characters, organised by discipline. They are figures whose work or entire body of work were of great importance in the development of our Western Culture. Of each of them an image is presented in (the plastic part of) a CD-case. This results in a series of about three hundred images of crucially important people. Of these cases, a catalogue was made, presenting essential information and, in my opinion, their most important works, and at times a quote." W. Cuvelier.
