Redemption is defined as the action of regaining or gaining possession of something in exchange for payment, or clearing a debt. The state had determined that I owed a dept to society. Whether I had intended to commit a crime or not was of no concern during my trial or sentencing...I just had to be concerned with the consequences. This is the telling of my road to redemption. It's the telling of what I felt, faced and overcame. It's the telling of how I pulled through the darkest days of my life thus far and regained my freedom.
