The Mt. Monadnock blues

Tim, a 40-year-old gay man living alone and already in mild mid-life crisis, has his life radically altered when his orphaned niece and nephew show up at his doorstep, accompanied by a policeman, because his sister and brother-in-law have just died in a car crash. He is determined to take proper care of the children, but is challenged by another sister and her red-necked husband who seek custody because of Tim's homosexuality. The ensuing struggle marks the heart of Duberstein's seventh book.
