Natalie loves love and hates relationships. Having never been surprised with a thousand daisies on her doorstep or a proposal written among the clouds, she set off on an impulsive 3,000-mile trip to Ruune, North Dakota, to reunite with her childhood sweetheart. On the way, she encounters a strange and eclectic collection of people who deconstruct and rebuild her entire romantic belief system, as she learns the hard way that love is never what it appears to be.
