Pomnal ŭi hwawŏn

Narrated by Sunyŏng, a thirteen-year-old girl growing up in a farming village in 1970s. In each chapter of twenty-one, she tells of a specific event and an independent theme, but as a whole, what she perceives about her family including her mother, father, brother, and sister, and the world surrounding them including friends, neighbors, visiters, and foreigners.
