About This Book

Anthological edition with texts by specialists and critics concerning the development of Mexican architecture during colonial times, covering not only the buildings of higher aesthetic or technological value, but also those buildings without patrimonial merits like "jacales" or adobe houses. The participating academics come from different areas of the FES Acatlán and have formed, since 2002, a multidisciplinary seminar titled "Arquitectura y Vida Cotidiana."
