The Church; readings in theology

Considers first some fundamental truths about the Church in her essence and structure and then, secondly, it takes up the openness of the Church to the problems and expectations of mankind. The third section is devoted to reflections centering directly on the Church in Council. Finally, by way of an appendix, there is a speculative study of the Hypostatic Union as background for an incarnational understanding of the Church.
