of Törngrens krukmakeri (Thörngrens pottery) that started in 1789 and is still
working with a small traditional production of redware. Bengt Törngren is the last
potter (7 generations) in the workshop and also the last Swedish potter with a
Master degree based on the old system of practical education. Bengt started throwing
when he was about nine years old.
