Paul Green (Aknik) tells of his life growing up in an Eskimo village in Alaska. Accompanying these remembrances are line drawings by Native Ekimo artist George Akgupuk. The author describes such traditional activities as hunting, whaling, and making igloos, and share anecdotes on subjects as varied as Rskimo games, kissing, and the Arctic. Written in pidgin English, as spoken by the author, may be difficult to read.
