The spirit-minder and other stories

A collection of short stories based on the folklore of Trinidad and Tobago. Many of these stories originated in the mythology that came with the European, Asian and African peoples who settled on the islands. The oral tradition in the author's family has helped to preserve and modify the tales over the years. These stories are a modern re-telling of narratives peopled with familiar supernatural figures, ordinary people and strange happenings.
