The life and writings of Moses Fisk

Biographical sketch of Moses Fisk (1759-1843), followed by some of his writings, and concluding with his ancestry and descendants. He was a frontiersman, educator, theologian, and lawyer of Tennessee's upper Cumberland region, and is "... famous nationally for founding Fisk Female Academy at Hilham, Tennessee, in 1806 (the first such institution in the south)."
