Jesús Magaña a color

Photographer Jesús Magaña (Guadalajara, Mexico 1933-2015) came from a shoemaking family. The exhibition rescues from oblivion a photographer who once was well known and highly regarded by film stars, "Mexican vedettes" and editors of newspapers and magazines. His photographic portraits "at the time, strengthened or created icons of popular erotic imagery and are traces of a way of understanding sensuality and desire.".
