Collection of poems, written between 1963-1965, by Haitian-born poet, Jacques Viau Renaud (1941-1965), who exiled to the Dominican Republic with his family during early childhood and embraced Dominican nationality. He joined his fellow Dominican comrades in the Revolution of 1965 where he lost his life fighting for the cause. His collected poetry was published posthumously.
