José Justo Montiel

This book collects an outstanding selection of paintings from artist José Justo Montiel (b. Orizaba, Veracruz 1824-1899) from the holdings of the Museo de Arte of the State of Veracruz. The selected forty works include: portraits of personalities of the 19th century elite society of the city of Orizaba (Veracruz), politicians, religious scenes, nuns, priests, convents, churches, landscapes, still lifes, etc, as well as reproductions of paintings by other artists.
