"The primary purposes of this module are to explore the range of diversity among modern foragers, and to evaluate their relevance for evolutionary reconstructions of Paleolithic adaptions. The discussion deals with diversity rather than creating ideal types, evaluates present models against a large cross-cultural sample, and suggests a multiplicity of adaptations for the Paleolithic.
