6 X Style

In an addendum to her book of essays All Things Glorious and True, Kat writes about six women whose style inspires her: Gwen Stefani, Jenna Lyons of J. Crew, Kira Roessler of Black Flag, Kim Gordon of Sonic Youth, and Anya Phillips, one of the only Asian women in the 1970s punk and nightclub scene of New York. Kat notes that appreciating style and fashion go beyond mere appearances, providing a space to discuss larger topics like self-realization, punk, and politics. The zine also contains photographs.
