Hello, a warm welcome

I realized I had to make this book sometime last year. As the founder of 100% Halal's photography agency, it's my goal to connect creative and original photographers to clients and agencies in order to get commercial jobs - but why did I fall in love with these guys and girls in the first place? Obviously because they're great people, but more importantly it's because I love their photography, especially their uncommissioned work. Together with art director Maartje van Nimwegen we decided to start an annual book series inviting our photographers to make a series based on a set theme. The first issue is appropriately named: 'Hello, a warm welcome'. We gave them just that sentence as a brief no further restrictions.
