Hafız Nuri Efendi'nin Terceme-i ahvâli

Terceme-i Ahvâlim by Hafız Nuri Efendi, an Ottoman judge and poet, is about some of his experiences and adventures, especially during the great earthquake in 1856, while he was on duty in Crete between 1856-1857. This volume contains an introduction by Dr. Ördek, a facsimile of the original manuscript (Milli Kütüphane Yz. FB. 318) and a romanized critical edition of the text.
