Autobiography of the premier smash and grab raider in 1920s-1930s. He practically invented smash and grab, using high powered cars to escape police pursuit. His crimes did much to bring about the formation of the Flying Squad to combat thieves using motor vehicles. His girlfriend, called by the Press, the Bobbed Hair Bandit, drove for him, and stitched his hands that had been badly cut while gathering up the spoils.
