Down East nurse

Julia Lee, R.N., was a down-to-earth New Englander to her fingertips, proud to be the daughter of a scrub farmer and the most cussedly independent man in the whole state of Maine. And she was not ashamed to admit she liked young Dr. Dave Farren more than a little. But Dave's mother was somewhat of a snob, who did not consider Julia the sort of wife who could help Dave's career.
