The Ivory Trail

A great African story of a bygone era of adventure, danger and elephant hunting. The story is told in a humourous way by the main character to the author. Bvekenya is an ivory poacher who defies all laws against poaching and evades the authorities for years as he lives his life as an outlaw in the African bush. The people (and animals) he meets and lives his life with are colourful and unforgetable as you read of his exciting, nomadic life where the living was hard; if the animals didn't get you the malaria would!
