Myanmar – Walk, Ride, Crash, Evacuate

In December, 2012, the author went on a ten day motorcycle ride around northern Myanmar with two other riders. After a few days, he crash-landed on his head with the engine shut off, risking his life in the Shan countryside. Evacuation to Singapore with multiple fractures and a collapsed lung took two painful days.
