Reid's heirs

James Simms Wilson was born in 1893, at Charlton, England, the first child of James Edward and Eleanor Elizabeth Simms Wilson. He married Victoria Barnes in 1917. They had three daughters. He was the last of a family line of renowned optical instrument makers and was absorbed in the development of the microscope business. After his retirement in 1954, he became of diocesan reader of the Church of England. He died in 1976.
