Coins in the fountain

Set in Italy of the 1950's. About the lives of the head of a news agency, a famous and ill writer, and a second man at the agency and a female secretary, and to a certain extent her roommates and assorted other expatriates working in Rome. It was made into a movie called Three Coins in the Fountain, in 1954. The major difference in the film is that the secretary and her roommates are given much more prominent roles.
