A mama's calendar : 12 months of love & struggle

Coleen Murphy evacuated New Orleans shortly before Hurricane Katrina and returned to find her home still intact. She writes about the loss of her familiar New Orleans and taking her daughter to protests and volunteer work. The zine was made to look like a calendar and includes several photos and photobooth photos of Coleen's family and friends, as well as some pages from East Village Inky and other mamazines. Each calendar page also includes a listing of historical and celebrity birthdays.
