God and Mother Moore

The biography of Mother Moore (Caroline Amelia Fullmer Moore), who is Jane Addams, Frances Willard, Florence Nightingale, Carrie Nation and Tugboat Annie rolled into one, tells the Cinderella story of how a poor little girl became queen of a great city and mother to a million service men and women, veterans and homeless children. At the age of seventy-nine she still carries on her many philanthropic enterprises. She presides over the Child Welfare Shelter of the City of Philadelphia, acts as camp mother for underprivileged children in summer camps, works in the WTCU, Eastern Star, Order of the Armaranth and other organizations. She is a political force to be reckoned with and her voice is a familiar one on radio stations.
