Kabardian-English Dictionary

This is the only comprehensive dictionary of the Kabardian and Cherkess languages in the English language. It has more than 22,000 entries in Cyrillic Kabardian-Cherkess. It is a must for students, learners of Kabardian and professionals. The Kabardians in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic and the Cherkess in the neighbouring Karachai-Cherkess Republic speak the same language, with no significant dialectical divergence. Speakers of Kabardian-Cherkess in the Caucasus number close to 700,000. There are also speakers (about 300,000) across the Middle East and the United States. The status of Kabardian-Cherkess is generally characterized as stable, and there are indications that it is gaining in strength in the Caucasus.
