The Path of the Pole

Revised edition of "Earth's shifting crust" published in 1958. Theory of polar wandering based on variations in glacierization of polar areas. From radio carbon datings of climatic events of the last 100,000 years, the author shows that the earth's outer shell has slipped over its interior thus changing the relative positions of the poles three times during that period, from Yukon to Greenland Sea to Hudson Bay.
