The book brings us glances of affiliation and refiliation to understand the possibility of the construction of the alterity of the "Amazonian" subject that is built every day by identifying not only with the land, but also with its traditions, customs and, above all, meanings of a "unifying-diversity" that makes us belonging to the knowledges of this historical affiliation: It is not a question here of saying how corn is and what beans are, but rather of recognizing them in practices.
