This issue begins with a 1913 article on eugenics and a call to begin a eugenics club at the O. A. C. Agricultural articles pertain to investigating Pear Blight in the Niagara region, a comparison on whether to harvest clover seed or use it as fodder, a critical view of the hog industry in Canada, microbiology in the home, and the usage of artificial incubation of chicks. There is also a biography of Dr. DeLaval the inventor of the cream separator. Printed in this issue is a short story by O. Henry.
