About This Book

The exhibition represents and makes visible the geomorphological, ecological and cultural diversity and specificity that has developed within the territory of the National Natural Park Serranía de Chiribiquete (Department of Guaviare and Caquetá) and the conflicts that surround it, the communities that inhabit it, its history, its prehistoric rock art and its rich biodiversity. Includes the participation of contemporary artists such as Miguel Ángel Rojas, Oscar Leone, Edwin Monsalve and María Teresa Negreiros who contribute to generate a transversal, multidisciplinary and critical reflection on the effects and threats that the human being can cause in a natural and cultural heritage such as that of Chiribiquete, deepening and enriching the central message of this exhibition.
