K5 Manuscript Writing Curriculum

Kindergarten lays the foundation for learning the formation of each letter. These skills will be perfected as students go on into first and second grade. Kindergarteners learn to write each letter of the alphabet in a program that is correlated with their phonics. As students learn to recognize the letters of the alphabet and learn what sound they say, they also learn to write them. Later students learn to write blends, words, and sentences. - p. T5.
