Presents an interpretation of the paintings and graphics of the German artist Albert Haueisen (1872-1954) along with a catalogue raisonné of his paintings. Haueisen painted in a post-impressionist style, and as a printmaker he was especially noted for his etchings. Between 1919 and 1933 he taught at the Karlsruhe Kunstakademie. The catalogue raisonné lists 818 paintings spanning the years 1890 to 1951. The work contains 56 black and white illustrations and 54 in color.
