Introduction to acting

This edition of Introduction to Acting is a completely revised version of the text that was in general use for almost two decades. It includes significant material and exercises from An Actor's Workbook, which was also extensively used up to a few years ago. As was true of the original edition, first published in 1962, it is designed to serve the needs of the beginning student in acting. As then, it is intended as a textbook for college acting classes and the working actor in community and amateur theatre. - Preface.
