Basing his treatment entirely upon authoritative Protestant sources, the author presents the history, doctrine, ritual, organizational structure of the fifteen major Protestant Churches in America (to which 90% of all American Protestants belong), as well as the many minor Protestant denominations--grouping these into distinctive families of sects.
