About This Book

This is a delightful book. It tells the story of a young boy growing up through his thirteenth birthday in India. There is a bit of a mystery which unfolds delightfully through the dialogue. His thoughts, actions and interactions are typical to the development of any boy who is trying to make sense out of his culture, the differences in the subcultures which surround him, and who to trust in this grown up world. His awareness of 'street sense' and the innate heritage which he possesses conflict to bring him into and out of trouble. I am seeking a copy for my grandson.
