Quantifying human trafficking, its impact and the responses to it

In the following sections of this paper, the main limitations of data on human trafficking will be discussed and some preliminary findings on data gaps will be outlined. The overview will draw both on relevant findings in the literature and on new insights gained during an ongoing UNODC research project on trafficking in persons introduced in this document.
