"Kemble by Kemble" is a brief retrospective with just 32 works, spanning from 1953, when Kenneth Kemble Smith (b. Buenos Aires, 1923 -1998) was 30 years old, and culminating in 1995, shortly before his death. Thus, far from trying to cover everything, the exhibited pieces are the ones Kemble selected for the covers of catalogs, samples, or publications allowing the artist to talk about himself.
