The European Health Report 2005

Summarises the major public health issues facing the 52 countries in the WHO European Region. The report looks particularly at the widening health gaps between the western and eastern countries of Europe, and between the socioeconomic groups within countries. There is a special focus on children's health, looking at the differences in patterns of ill health between children and adults, and the wide differences in rates of illness and death in children across the region.
