Morphological parameters for mammal locomotion in snow

Paper prepared for presentation at the 51st Annual Meeting of the American Society of Mammalogists, University of British Columbia, Vancouver June 20-24, 1971. Reports on results of studies on ungulates from Elk Island, Jasper and Waterton Lakes national parks and from the Richardson Mountains in the NWT on morphological adaptations to snow by examining such parameters as chest heights and foot loads.
