About This Book

This is a first-hand account, the book being written by a prominent Methodist who was born in 1806 and lived in Armagh for most of his adult life. His full name was Joseph Marshall Lynn, and he was also a physician and Surgeon General in the Armagh Militia. According to church records, he figured prominently in the 1859 Methodist revival in Armagh. He died there in 1899.
