The high school curriculum

The increasing tempo of change in curriculum in secondary schools has led to this present volume. It is aimed at students and graduate students of education, current in-service secondary school teachers and administrators, presenting a collection of essays discussing outstanding developments being tested and put into practice. Subjects addressed include (1) contemporary curriculum thinking and practice, (2) principles and techniques of curriculum construction and revision, (3) general trends, (4) specific trends in subject-matter divisions of the high school curriculum. The authors of the present work are distinguished, known for sound thinking and leadership in the fields they address.
