An ivy-league paratrooper

The author shares the daily journal he kept while in military service during World War II. Although he intended the journal to serve as an objective daily account of his battalion's activities, locations, dates, names and events, the journal became a narration of his life, and how he was able to to endure the extreme demands of warfare existence.
