About This Book
Nathan Prince published this in 1742, the year he was dismissed from his position as Harvard College Tutor. This work represents Prince's attempt to demonstrate that his dismissal was a violation of the laws of Harvard College, and outside the scope of the Board of Overseers' powers. His arguments, which have been deemed valid by several modern scholars, failed to help Prince regain his position.
