State plane coordinates by automatic data processing

This pamphlet describes the methods and history of converting the location of physical objects on earth from Geodetic Coordinates into the system of State Plane Coordinates in english units of measurments and back again. The mathematics are discussed and equivalent algorithms for computer implementaion are written in FORTRAN IV. This book is the standard used in map making and Geodesy used in many applications by businesses and government.
