About This Book

"Nevermore," a Raven once said, but this tale starts with the warning screams of an amber crow, Edgar. Not as famous as Poe's raven, but a typically determined member of the Corvid family. Edgar is the feathery friend of Willie Cloudmaker, a part Tlingit visionary who adopted him. Edgar's ancestry was the result of a Raven named Zondi and a flirty crow named Flick. Edgar and Willie live together at the end of picturesque Scoon Bay, located on Bradestone Island in Puget Sound. When a clueless couple, Alex Beahzhi and Kay Roberts purchase an abandoned farmhouse on Bradestone they find they bought into more than they bargained for. As people go missing and a strange young man named Wick stumbles off the ferry and into their lives the dark game of murder has already begun. Of course, the local Police Sergeant, Ujima Washington, is asking questions: How did the bodies get where they are? Who benefits from the skullduggery? And, why is Kay such a nosy-parker? Willie Cloudmaker knows and so does Edgar, but neither are talking ... well, Willie might.
